Hygienic Wall Cladding For Amerigo Vespucci

When the Owners of the classic Canary Wharf Italian restaurant, Amerigo Vespucci, decided to upgrade their kitchen and food preparation facilities, they made contact with Goss Environmental Coatings, installers of high performance hygienic wall cladding and coating systems.

Amerigo Vespucci has been established in Canary Wharf for over 20 years, offering classic Italian cuisine to their Canary Wharf clientele. Minimised down-time was extremely important so a fast track hygienic cladding installation programme was agreed over the Christmas / New Year period. Quality installation on a fast track basis was the order of the day.

The users were looking for finishes which would withstand heavy usage, be easily cleanable and comply with the stringent hygiene standards required and maintained at Amerigo Vespucci.

The Solution

Goss installed Trovex Diamond White, considered to be the premier hygienic surface for food environments, over the incumbent ceramic tiles. Trovex Diamond White provides a smooth hygienic surface and contains Bactiban™ which prevents bacteria building up wherever it is installed.

The Trovex was thermo-formed and neatly / hygienically finished with proprietary joint strips as required. Goss also installed a new Parafon Hygien ceiling system, providing the Client with the Wall / Ceiling hygienic package via one Specialist Company. Clean white hygienic finishes were on the Menu.

The Benefits

As requested, Goss completed the project to specification and on time, working closely with the Amerigo Vespucci management team to get the restaurant up and running on time for an early January re-opening, ready to carry on offering high quality Italian cuisine to Clients throughout 2016.
