Here at Goss, we are very proud to play our part in supporting our local community. We understand that our commitment to providing the highest quality hygienic cladding and coating services to our customers, can also be used to help others around us.
As part of this commitment, we are delighted to have recently started sponsoring local athletes at the amazing Paul Davis Fencing Academy.
The Paul Davis Fencing Academy was founded in 2009 by Paul and funded by a £1000 grant from the 948 Foundation. As demand started to grow, they saw a large increase in interest for Fencing sessions across the local area.
Throughout the following decade, the Academy continued to expand, and Paul took on more coaches and grew the support team to ensure the Academy was run to the highest standards. Now, the Academy has grown to a new level running an incredible 107 sessions a week, from a purpose-built Centre in the heart of St Albans.
Having seen the hard work and focus that the academy leadership and athletes alike put into their training, we wanted to help them reach their full potential.
Paul Davis, the Academy Director said: “Your sponsorship will undoubtedly have a significant impact on our athletes’ training, development, and overall success in their sport of Fencing. With your sponsorship, we will be able to provide our athletes with travel opportunities, and coaching support in preparation for the World Championships.”
